DONOR 'CLAWBACK' LAWSUITS - IS ETH360'S EXEC BOARD IMMUNE ?
IN 2021 A LAWSUIT WAS FILED AGAINST RZIM (RAVI Z INTL MIN) BY DONORS WHO FOUND THAT SOME DONATIONS WERE USED TO FUND SECRET SETTLEMENTS WITH ABUSE VICTIMS AND TO HIRE LAW FIRMS TO DEFEND RZIM FROM POTENTIAL LEGAL CLAIMS.
The Exec Board at RZIM knew about the abuse cases and the lawsuits, but they all remained silent for years.
A report on this scandal says, in a previous lawsuit against RZIM: "When the lawsuit came to light in 2017, the ministry officially misstated the fact that “no ministry funds were used.” The Executive Committee of the Board and some members of the RZIM Leadership Team knew the statement was false, according to the 78-page assessment completed by Guidepost Solutions.
None of them corrected the record.
“There are no immediate consequences,” an RZIM Accountant said in an email to the Chief Financial Officer in 2017, which was forwarded to the RZIM CEO the same day. “I just pray the ministry is never challenged or brought to account.”
Now, offended donors are demanding 17 years of financial records from RZIM!

As far as we can tell not a single Mission Executive since 2007 has made a public objection to the publication of information that they know to be less than completely truthful.
This 'Culture of Silence' by Executives has led to the downfall of scores of well-known ministries. We solicit any corrections or explanations, but they must be verifiable with supporting documentation!
WHY HAS ETHNOS360 ModifIED their Donor DISCLOSURE?
UNLIKE PREVIOUS (BROKEN?) PROMISES THAT "DESIGNATED DONATIONS" WENT WHERE THEY WERE INTENDED, THE NEW WORDING LETS E360 SHIFT DONATED FUNDS "WHERE MOST NEEDED", SIMPLY by "UNILATERALLY"determining that Something ELSE MIGHT BE "most NEEDED".
REGARDING THE NEW DONOR STATEMENT,
IF E360 'did not' intend to word the Donor Disclosure to create the 'open ended and unilateral' authority it gives them, then, to avoid suspicion, why couldn't E360 modify the Disclosure to read "If we cannot honor your initial preference, we will contact you for alternatives, including to apply your gift where most needed"?
Ethnos360 typically publishes statements, where the exact wording is used FOR A REASON , which 'may be' a Loop Hole.
Anyone who thinks that E360 would never take advantage of an opportunity to stack the deck in their favor, has never studied E360's dismal history of questionable practices.

Ethnos Leadership - you have completely destroyed your credibility to the point that none of us outside the Ethnos360 Bubble believe anything you publish, including your "audited financials". Ministry Watch downgraded you again for a legitimate reason. If you think Ethnos360 getting RZIM'd by angry donors and supporters cannot happen, you are very wrong!

- If CEO Brown tries to circle the wagons instead of inviting an independent outside review of the board's activities including a detailed audit of all donor funds and transparent full disclosure of every dollar spent on the "Historic Child Abuse Investigations” and the numerous "confidential settlements" plus a full and accurate disclosure of the monies channeled to Telios law and Theresa Sidebotham at IHART along with the other teams of lawyers who fought the Jane Doe Plaintiffs tooth and nail... all of it... then we have our answer as to where this will end up in the future.
IS ETHNOS360 ACTUALLY FINANCIALLY TRANSPARENT? NOT AT ALL!
There are a number of warning flags that have led us to believe that Ethnos 360 is on a path towards big troubles brought about by very little outside oversight combined with a severe lack of financial transparency.
This is highlighted by "Ministry Watch" which has repeatedly downgraded Ethnos360, presently to a dismal 37, on the Donor Confidence Score, and a Transparency Rating for Etnos360 of 'D'. But that is not the worst of it.
IT IS FORESEEABLE THAT ETHNOS360 COULD BE SUED BY ITS DONORS

Ethnos360 Leadership has covered up and silenced so many past Child Abuse Cases using similar tactics as the SBC and RZIM which has landed both of those organizations in serious legal and financial jeopardy.
Ethnos steadfastly claims (with no actual proof) that “no donor funds have ever been used to settle abuse claims or to fund the 12 years of "investigations" conducted by IHART”. There has been zero transparency or accountability for the financial expenditures by NTM/Ethnos360 with respect to their handling of "Historical Child Abuse" under CEO Larry Brown.
Ethnos360 proudly points to their "Audited Financials" but those are only reliable if the information provided to the auditors is complete and accurate. Words are cheap. We are demanding proof!

The U.S. Department of Justice opened a Criminal Investigation into the Executive Committee at the Southern Baptist Convention, partly for doing several of the same things that NTM/Ethnos360 Executives have done... conspiring to cover up the extent of Historic Child Abuse Cases that they had knowledge existed but which were inconvenient for the organization if there was ever a public scandal reported.
